Kansas City Bike/Walk Mob Threatens Council Takeover

This week, near disaster on Armour Blvd. reminds us that the handiwork of the Bike/Walk gang endangers Midtown Kansas City residents.

However, inside word and a good question got us thinking . . .

WHAT WILL BECOME OF KANSAS CITY WITH TOP RANKING BIKE/WALK CAPTAINS ON THE COUNCIL?!?!

For those who didn't know . . . Both incumbent council dude Eric Bunch & council contender Michael Kelley got their start with Bike/Walk KC . . . An activist consultancy that's basically dedicated to the destruction of personal automobile ownership.

Meanwhile . . .

Here's a perspective from a trusted insider . . .

"With one Bike/Walk vote we've seen disastrous results, bad ideas and bike lane 'priorities' put ahead of small business and even neighborhood safety. Now, we're looking at two Bike/walk votes that would mean absolute disaster for city streets . . . We're looking at serious traffic impediments over the next four years . . . Not because it would help KCMO, but just because it satisfies the agenda of this extremist group."

Even worse . . .

The Bike/Walk gang also buys into just about every "progressive" cause that local activists are peddling along with a decidedly anti-police stance that is anything but productive in advancing public safety.

It's up to voters in the general election to make the final decision . . . We only hope that the June 20th election is better informed with a higher turnout that can overpower a smallish group of amateur urban planners who hope to restrict traffic and crackdown on cars, parking spaces & scenic streets throughout  Kansas City.

Developing . . .
