Did Kansas City Politely Ignore Latest Deadly Mass Shooting?!?

Sunday morning a horrific slaughter in Kansas City garnered headlines across the nation and around the world but locally we didn't notice any reaction more significant than a few bummed out tweets.

In fact . . .

TOP ECHELON KANSAS CITY INSIDERS noticed a dearth of any overpowering sentiments from the public and only a few small wilted flowers marking the fatal crime scene.

Meanwhile, national news seemed to offer more context than locals cared to share . . . Check-it:

The Klymax Lounge describes itself as the “newest addition to the nightlife” in Kansas City and made its first social media appearance in April 2021. From the photos on its Instagram page, it appears to regularly host live performances by musicians and other entertainers.

According to police, one of those shot to death there on Sunday was found outside the club. Another was found dead inside the club, and the third died after being brought to a hospital.

One of the two people wounded was in critical condition.

And so . . .

We watch the news as close as anyone in Kansas City and it seems like this HORRIFIC STORY OF RAMPANT VIOLENCE didn't really move the dial for locals. In fact, by evening the events were old news. 

Context . . . KC seemed much more interested in propagating racial avarice following gunfire endured by an unlucky teen in the Northland . . . Thankfully, the youngster lived and hopefully gets some of that EPIC crowdfunding cash sent his way. 

Accordingly . . .

Here at TKC we think that DEADLY MASS SHOOTING GUNFIRE should elicit a stronger response so that this kind of criminality won't become commonplace.
