Useless Kansas City Recycling Bins Coming Soon For Election Season

Reality check . . . 

Residents wanted TRASH BINS not recycling bins. We're getting this because so few people bother to recycle given that we all know it's just going to the landfill anyhoo . . . 

In the meantime . . . The hopelessly naive will consider this PROGRESS amid another upcoming low turnout election . . .

City leaders said 162,000 carts will go out to residents in each residential home through the summer. Residents at apartments will not receive recycling carts.

There are enough of the recycling carts for every home in Kansas City, but getting one of the new bins is not mandatory.

Kansas City to start rolling out recycling carts next week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Starting Monday, Kansas City will start delivering recycling carts to residents' doors. City leaders said 162,000 carts will go out to residents in each residential home through the summer. Residents at apartments will not receive recycling carts.
