Show-Me SHAMEFUL Op/Ed Idealizing Victimhood After Kansas City Teen Shooting

We hesitate to mention Taylor's work because she has carved out a nice niche for herself wherein any dispute of her twisted logic is a hate crime.

However . . .

Her life story has overcome truly heinous moments and what we can't fathom is this: Given that she has suffered horrific tragedy in her life . . . Why would she wish that on anyone else???

More to the point . . .

She creates a false dichotomy . . . Safer communities don't have to come at anyone's expense except those who would do innocent people harm . . . That's why the KCMO teen shooting case is so devastating because it's clear that our toxic discourse ON BOTH SIDES OF PARTISAN CULTURE WAR LINES has obviously played a role in this tragic incident.

That's our take . . .

We know this is risky but we're just stumped by this writing because if anything Taylor has shown that's she is a remarkable SURVIVOR and not a victim.

Here's here silly highlight and a link to more info . . .

"I would rather live in a community of victims who refused to be perpetrators. Of people who opened their doors and gave directions instead of bullets. I do not want vigilante justice. I do not want eye for an eye. I do not want this fear and famine, isolation and segregation."

Guns and vigilantes: Fear, paranoia has created a culture of violence * Missouri Independent

It's just the doorbell, the child is lost. PUT THE GUN DOWN. It's just a car, doing a u-turn because they were lost. PUT THE GUN DOWN. She got into the wrong car by accident. PUT THE GUN DOWN. He didn't mean to cut you off. PUT THE GUN DOWN.
