Reparations For Kansas City Westside?!?

Consider . . .

A great deal of "reparations" calculations have been devised by accounts of the controversial history of redlining that was practiced throughout the Kansas City metro.

However . . .

East side neighborhoods weren't the only victims of government construction targeting.

Part of the history of Kansas City's Westside is that that neighborhood was "broken up by the construction of I-35 in the late 1960s."

And even to this day . . .

From World Series & Super Bowl celebrations to the current NFL Draft . . . Every celebration at Union Station uses the Westside as a parking lot wherein drunks and all manner of sports fan miscreants drive through the neighborhood, sideswiping cars and endangering youngsters.

And so . . .

The Westside is also deserving of reparations.

Strangely . . .

The payback already seems to be underway.

Recently, the Westside garnered about a million bucks from Mayo Pete in an effort to "reconnect" the community.

Also . . .

Westsiders were recently the beneficiary of tax breaks amid historic property tax spikes.

This is a good start.

However . . .

Given advances on KCMO reparations that will be quickly forthcoming after the June 20th municipal election:

TKC ADVOCATES CHECKS FOR 10 MILLION BUCKS TO LONGTIME KANSAS CITY RESIDENTS!!!

Similarly . . .

If anybody else can make a case for repartitions . . . We'd be happy to feature that as well. We're pretty sure both the Irish & Italians and maybe even the Swedes are entitled to some cash.

Developing . . .
