Kansas City Triple Deadly Shooting Overnight

Tragic local violence didn't take a break for the NFL draft and this morning we're learning of a chaotic scene on the East side the resulted in horrific carnage. 

The deets read like a combat zone and here's what we know for certain . . .

Here is the first report . . . 

Homicide - 7200 block of Wabash & Gregory and Paseo

This morning just after 12:30am, officers were called to the 7200 block of Wabash Ave in regard to a shooting.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim, an adult male, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition.

A short time later, just after 1am, officers were called to Gregory and Paseo on a reported shooting.  Upon arrival, officers located two victims, both adult males, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  EMS responded to the scene and declared both victims deceased.

Additionally, the victim from Wabash Ave was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel responded to the scene.  They processed both scenes and detectives canvassed the scenes for witnesses.   Investigators believe these two scenes are related.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 816-234-5043. Or if you wish to remain anonymous you can do so by calling the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.  There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information provided to TIPS which leads to an arrest in the case.

Three dead in pair of overnight shootings, police believe incidents are related

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Three men died Saturday morning from injuries sustained in shootings believed to be linked. The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department stated officers were made aware of a shooting call in the 7200 block of Wabash Avenue just after 12:30 a.m.
