Kansas City Royals Suffer Losing Streak Amid Worst Starting Record In Club History

Clearly and as so many TKC readers have suggested . . . The home team is far more interested in talking about a new stadium than current offerings to fans.

There are a lot of people with fond memories of The K and even some who remember old school Municipal stadium . . . Meanwhile . . . Current management continues to lose fans & support.

Here's a breakdown of the team's current performance . . .

A 12-3 loss to the Rangers at Kauffman Stadium concluded another tough homestand in which the Royals lost all six games and were outscored, 52-15.

Kansas City is 4-15 overall this season and 1-12 at home, which ties the 2018 club record for worst home mark after 13 games.

It didn't take long for the hopes and dreams of the Kansas City faithful to deflate into grumbles and frustration. Just 19 games into the 2023 season, the Royals are an abysmal 4-15, including 1-12 in the perhaps not-so-friendly confines of Kauffman Stadium.


Scott, Singer, and swingers scuffle, series swept 12-3

Brady Singer once again labored and Kansas City's offense struggled against Martín Pérez as Texas completed the sweep with a 12-3 victory. Things looked dicey for Singer from the jump. Marcus Semien singled on the second pitch of the game and then Travis Jankowski walked on four pitches.
