KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Eight days after five people were shot at a Kansas City, Missouri gas station, video of that shooting is circulating and community leaders are voicing their concern. One of the victims was under five years old. A new video shows the chilling moments when that gunman starts shooting.


Olathe family disturbance leaves man in critical condition

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Olathe police responded to an armed disturbance between family members Sunday evening. Officers were dispatched just before 6 p.m. to the 800 block of South Windsor Road. The 26-year-old male victim suffered one gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.


Person of interest ID'd in fatal Blue Springs RV fire declared homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A homicide investigation is underway in Blue Springs following a suspicious RV fire Friday morning. "The death was not likely due to the fire," Blue Springs Police said Friday afternoon. Officials had reported one person died in the RV fire in the 1200 block of SW Morningside Drive.


Sheriff's office investigating death of Jackson County inmate

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is investigating a death at the county jail. Around 6:20 p.m. Friday, staff responded to a medical emergency inside the Jackson County Detention Center where 24-year-old Mercury M. Davis was found unresponsive. Emergency crews took Davis to an area hospital were he was later pronounced dead.
