Kansas City Councilman Eric Bunch Pens Anti-Gun Teen Shooting Statement

A recent note from a councilman confronting reelection deserves scrutiny.

First and foremost . . .

Council dude Bunch using KCMO letterhead to pen what is tantamount to a campaign message is already drawing criticism.

Sure, the 4th District is progressive in many parts BUT nobody likes politicos who use city resources to campaign. 

More importantly . . . 

This controversy is out of the councilman's district AND from a dude who hasn't garnered much support in KC's Black community despite his best efforts. 

Bunch was bested in the Northland by challenger Henry Rizzo and this anti-gun note might do a lot to inspire even more opposition in that part of the district.

The main point here . . .

It just seems kinda desperate and a move from an elected official trying to latch onto a tragedy for his own benefit.
