Kansas City Council Members Launch Another Crackdown Against Brian Platt

This one isn't quite behind the scenes but it's more PROOF that East side doesn't like the City Manager and they're going to make his career a lot harder from here out . . . Here's a peek at ordinance language that most of our readers might not have seen yet . . . Check-it . . . 

"The City Manager shall appear before the Council to provide certain information before suspending, terminating, or taking any other adverse action against an employee for failure to comply with the residency requirements of the City's Code of Ordinances."

A great deal of this crackdown likely stems from a controversial firing THAT WAS RUMORED TO BE RECORDED and has sparked widespread East side resentment against the CM's office.
