Contender Chastain Cites Mayor Q's DUI In Scathing Kansas City Presser

It looks like we've got a campaign on our hands . . .

CLAY CHASTAIN ISN'T PULLING ANY PUNCHES IN HIS CAMPAIGN AGAINST MAYOR Q AS HIS LATEST E-MAIL BLAST BRINGS UP MAYOR Q'S DUI CHARGE!!!

Now . . . Clay does the right thing and notes the charge was dropped.

Still . . .

In a town known for politeness . . . ESPECIALLY during election season. This blast from the past is sure to raise eyebrows and shows us that the transit activist hasn't given up his effort to compete for the top job in KCMO.

Check-it . . .

Mayoral Candidate Clay Chastain Press release: In the final race for Mayor, (Shady) Lucas is not the transparent Mayor he claims to be as his dubious actions (against his political opponent Clay Chastain) prove otherwise.

#1. (Shady) Lucas was arrested on a DUI charge (intoxicated while sleeping in his car outside a bar in Lawrence). Lucas said he wanted to be "transparent" and added, "he behaved responsibly". A Kansas prosecutor dropped the charge. Yet, Lucas is pushing prosecuting Chastain on a trespassing charge (Chastain was arrested while on his way to a council hearing to protest the fact Lucas was refusing to debate). Chastain said, "I am just exercising my right to free speech". The City prosecutor did not agree and he and (Shady) Lucas decided not to drop the charges. Chastain pleaded not guilty and his trial is set for June 9th. (Stand by)!

#2. (Shady) Lucas took full advantage of being able to appear (and campaign) on KCUR 89.3 Public Radio knowing full well that KCUR (Steve Kraske (host of Up to Date) & News Editor, CJ Janovy) was discriminating against Chastain (playing favorites) and denying Chastain any time on Kansas City's ("State-affiliated media") NPR station. (Stand by)!

#3. (Shady) Lucas refused to place Chastain's 2019 Airport rail petition (signed in support of by 4,000 KC voters) before voters because it out-shined his superfluous, costly and Touristy Frou Frou streetcar extension. (Lucas killed a petition from the people)!

35,351 voters were misled in voting for a shady Mayor (who has also presided over record levels of homicides, started a Cold War with police and is stupidly pushing Reparations & Glitz) at the Primary election. But, "you can't fool all the people all the time". Let's see if the other 300,000 Kansas City voters (who did not vote in the Primary) will be fooled in the General election.
