STL Transformed Into Murderous Hellscape: How Will Kansas City Avoid This Fate?!?

Again, here's why TKC doesn't like to see KCMO politicos getting too cozy with the other Democratic Party enclave across I-70 . . .

STL HAS NOTHING TO TEACH KC!!! THEY'RE A FAILED CITY AND THEY ONLY SERVE TO PROVE THAT KC IS ACTUALLY PRETTY NICE BY COMPARISON!!!

Moreover . . . 

No matter what you're favorite activist wearing a brightly colored t-shirt might say . . . NOBODY wants to live where crime is unchecked and rampant on local streets.

And here's where we separate the rubes from the locals . . .  

Anybody who claims "KC is already just as bad as STL." Doesn't know what they're talking about and probably lives a terrified existence under a bed in Leawood somewhere. 

There isn't any part of this town that's off-limits during daylight hours and GENERALLY SPEAKING KCMO IS SAFE for those who don't go looking for trouble and stay on the straight and narrow path. There are tragic exceptions to this rule, of course . . . But we contend that KANSAS CITY IS NOT BEYOND SAVING FROM URBAN HIGH CRIME DECAY or we'd be writing this from JoCo like every other newspaper hack for the last 30 years.

And so we share this slice of life but first a question . . . 

LET'S NOT PRETEND IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE: HOW TO WE KEEP KCMO FROM FALLING INTO THE ABYSS LIKE STL?!?

For context, we share the story that inspired this question . . .

SUSPECT can be seen struggling to load his gun as he stands right behind the homeless man, who is sitting on the curb just a few feet away, a bystander video posted online shows.

He then appears to fire at the yet-to-be-identified victim, who raised his arms at one point, but made no attempt to run away and seemed almost resigned to his fate, the video shows.

“Oh my God. He just f–king killed him,” the witness can be heard saying.

Video shows gunman nonchalantly shooting homeless man execution-style in broad daylight in St. Louis

A St. Louis man was arrested Tuesday after a video appeared to catch him nonchalantly shooting a homeless man execution-style in broad daylight. Deshawn Thomas, 23, was arrested in connection with the Monday murder but has yet to be charged, police said.
