Should Kansas City Name New Airport After Former Mayor Sly James?!?

Count this blog as the first NO VOTE.

Here's why . . .

Sure . . . He pushed this forward but it wasn't like he built the thing himself or even had much to do with organizing. 

In fact . . . His role in New KCI kinda set the tone for what a sketchy mess that thing became . . . 

But here's the big reason why Sly's name shouldn't be on the airport . . .

WHAT WOULD IT BENEFIT KANSAS CITY BY HONORING FORMER MAYOR SLY WITH NEW KCI TRIBUTE?!?

I'm interested in any honest answer.

Until then . . . We're not sure New KCI needs a name that'll eventually become dated and useless. 

Still . . . 

I'm I'm allowed a silly suggestion . . .

The Patrick Mahomes Airport kinda has a ring to it . . . Two rings, in fact. 

Still here's a hint at where this conversation is going . . .

Former Mayor James was a proud man Monday, seeing the new facility and knowing he will forever be associated with helping to get this started.

James will also have his name on the plaque hanging in the facility honoring its creation.

This new terminal was a pet project of former Kansas City Mayor Sly James. The former mayor was at the new Kansas City International Airport terminal's ribbon-cutting ceremony.James was a proud man Monday, seeing the new facility and knowing he will forever be associated with helping to get this started.James will also have his name on the plaque hanging in the facility honoring its creation."We appointed the Commission of citizens to take a look at it.
