Jackson County residents are sharing their frustrations over rising property taxes. The Jackson County Assessor said property values could jump an average of 30 percent in 2023. The director of assessment said those numbers are consistent with Johnson and Wyandotte counites. Kansas City resident Veretta Jack said the increases won't be the same for everyone.
