Progressives Silence Dispute Betwixt Justice Horn & Black Legislators Over Conversion Therapy

Posted so that our readers have a better understanding of Kansas City politics. 

No . . . The Black community isn't a monolith . . . In fact, there isn't any racial or ethnic group wherein all members think the same way. 

About 10 paragraphs down . . . The Pitch references statements by Horn that seem to call out African-American legislators. 

What's interesting is that NOBODY will acknowledge this difference of opinion because it contradicts the narrative of urban politics. 

To get even deeper down in the weeds . . . This isn't even a Freedom, Inc. block on progressive issues given that one of their affiliates voted in favor of the ban. 

Politics in Kansas City's African-American community are a unique tapestry and, for those who really care about local Democracy, the viewpoints of our neighbors are worth considering outside of a few wedge issues.
