Newsflash: Kansas City Star FINALLY Notices Low Voter Turnout

We've been nothing this not-so-fun fact for a few months . . . The newspaper finally caught on.

Just for kicks . . . The KCMO turnout this time around is expected at anywhere from 7 to 10% as well. 

Check-it . . .

"In the April 2022 election, a measly 7.04% of those eligible cast a ballot. No, that’s not a typo."

As Republicans across the country push and pass voter suppression measures, the reality is that registered voters in the Kansas City area suppress themselves simply by not voting. In fact, local voter turnout numbers are appalling. Will that be the case again on April 4 when Kansas City, Jackson and Clay counties and a few area municipalities hold elections?
