New KCI Blames Drivers For Traffic Mess

KANSAS CITY RESIDENT FRUSTRATION OVER NEW KCI POOR PLANNING AND CONFUSING SIGNAGE IS DOWNPLAYED BY OUR AIRPORT OVERLORDS!!!

Here's the exceptionally polite line that pretty much tells locals to pipe down after spending 2 BILLION BUCKS for a facility that offers far less convenience.

KCI said it's asking the public for help to avoid traffic from piling up. Drivers are asked to use the Cell Phone Lot off Bern Street and two lanes when driving into arrivals/pick up. Officials also ask for people to not park at the curb, and only active loading and unloading is allowed. "Allow time time patience. Many apologies for the inconvenience. Thank you."

"Learning Curve": Drivers say the wait to get to the new KCI Terminal can reach an hour

Drivers going to and coming from the new terminal at KCI report some turbulence - in the form of long lines to pick up their passengers. KCI says it's addressing it's intermittent traffic congestion, but reminds the public the new terminal has been open for four days - so there's a learning curve for everyone.On Friday morning, drivers say they waited 40 minutes to get to the terminal.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Officials with the Kansas City International Airport say they're working to address traffic congestion for drivers heading to the new single terminal. In a Facebook post, KCI said it's asking the public for help to avoid traffic from piling up.
