Kauffman Withdraws Letter Of Support From Kansas City Anti-Crime Slush Fund

As of late, loyalists to Mayor Q's office and defund police advocates have been giving us a modicum of push back regarding our skepticism about Kansas City anti-crime group funding.

Meanwhile, the push for this money moved forward this week in a vote that was hotly disputed behind the scenes.  

And so . . .

Today we share a bit of news that provides a deeper perspective . . . It turns out that TKC isn't the only beloved institution with doubts, reservations and apprehensions about an EPIC cash giveaway with very few rules.

We're sure they have their own reasons and would likely provide a politic answer for their opposition.

However . . . 

This 30-MILLION-DOLLAR KANSAS CITY ANTI-CRIME GIVEAWAY PASSED WITHOUT ANY RULES, ACCOUNTING OR SPECIAL OVERSIGHT IS NOTHING LESS THAN A SLAP IN THE FACE TO TAXPAYERS!!!

And again . . .

What's really galling and slightly terrifying is that proponents of this legislation are willing to leverage the suffering and death in their own communities in order to fund this slush fund free-for-all.
