Free money for developers in the Sunflower State has been a strangely bi-partisan endeavor. 

Recently and very interestingly, a GOP blog argues for the end of the porky giveaways financed by unwitting (and often unwilling) taxpayers . . .

The Kelly administration is asking for approximately $15 million a year to prop up an incentive program that has shown little sign of being successful. According to the Wichita Eagle, the Department of Commerce the Kansas State Legislature to allocate the money to cover the cost of food sales tax revenues lost by STAR Bonds projects.
