Community Blood Center in Kansas City still struggling for donors week after declaring emergency

For the first time in 2023, the Community Blood Center has declared a blood emergency. The center says because of the flu, repeat donors have not been coming back and there's also been a decrease in first time blood donors. Throughout this week, several blood drives will be held and donors are showing up.

PARKVILLE, Mo. - Olen Lehman has fished since he was a child. His passion runs so deep, the fisherman operates a fishing charter company called KC Rodbenders when he's not at his day job in healthcare. During a fishing trip on the Missouri River toward the end of February, Lehman found part of a gravestone - the kind typically seen at a cemetery.

Jayden Robker's family to hold vigil, public celebration of life for teen

Family and friends of Jayden Robker will be holding two gatherings this week honoring the 13-year-old. Robker was missing for more than a month. His body was found last week in the area of North Broadway and Northwest Englewood Road.A candlelight vigil will be held at 7 p.m.
