Kansas City Mayor Q Rejects Debate With Challenger Chastian As Clay Shares New Theme Song

Mayor Q will not participate in Kansas City Democracy this year.

Here's the word gleaned from a series of press releases this afternoon . . . 

Now have the official word from Team Lucas:

"Appreciate your patience, and am circling back to let you know that the Mayor is not available to participate."

And so not only do we share a note but also a song from the challenger . . . Who, obviously, conduct his own campaign fun times solo . . .

Mayoral Candidate Clay Chastain Press release: KC's biased media and civic institutions are trying to rig the Mayoral election in favor of Mayor Lucas.

"Lightfoot Lucas", his handlers and the local media don't want a Mayoral public debate because they are afraid Challenger Clay Chastain will dispel a lot of false local propaganda (that he's a joke). 

Rather, this control group wants to control the local political narrative and treat the people like Mushrooms - keep them in the dark about Chastain and feed them manure about Chastain. We are less than a month from the Primary election and there is no scheduled Mayoral debate. Isn't it interesting that... the Women's League of Voters and the Northland Chamber are hosting Council debates, but no Mayoral debates; or that KCUR (public radio) has refused to answer all of Candidate Chastain's communications to be at least interviewed;  or how the Star proclaimed, in a false misleading headline, that Chastain can't vote; or that Lucas has not responded (in 3- weeks) to Nick Haines' request for a Mayoral Public Debate on KCPBS Ch. 19) ; or that Lucas told Pete Mondo (Radio show host -710) that he doesn't want to debate Chastain; or that Lucas had Chastain arrested at City Hall when Chastain came down to politely confront him about why he refuses to debate? Where the light is obliterated, the people perish.
