Kansas City Aviation Honcho Pat Klein FINALLY Kaput After New KCI FAIL

Just another sign that the new airport is not everything that was promised . . . The first scapegoat has sacrificed himself . . . OR . . . At the very least . . . We're not in any danger of naming the new airport after this dude.

Pat Klein worked for Kansas City for more than 25 years, in capital projects and later as assistant city manager, before moving to aviation.

"The last seven years as aviation director have been the most challenging and rewarding of my career," Klein said in a resignation letter to City Manager Brian Platt.

Kansas City Aviation Director Pat Klein will retire at the end of May, he announced Tuesday. Klein worked for Kansas City for more than 25 years, in capital projects and later as assistant city manager, before moving to aviation.
