Justin Short KC Council Qualifications: Mizzou Cheerleader

Admittedly, there's not a lot of interest in the upcoming Kansas City Council elections but it's kind of our job to pick out the worthwhile tidbits that deserve consideration.

And so . . . With thanks to KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS . . .

CONSIDER JUSTIN SHORT'S NOT SO LONG AGO MIZZOU GLORY DAYS AS A MALE CHEERLEADER BEFORE HIS LGBT ADVOCACY!!!

It's not a big secret . . . His male cheerleader history is right there on his LinkedIn page but, sadly, the topic escaped much mention amid this low-rent election cycle.

Even more interestingly . . .

A cheerleader also named Justin Short suffered a beat down by two female b-ball players.

The deets are pretty tense for that Justin . . .

"Justin Short, the Missouri cheerleader who accused Missouri women’s basketball players Amanda Hanneman and Jessra Johnson of assaulting him, has been suspended indefinitely from MU’s cheer squad for a “violation of team policies,” according to athletic department spokesman Chad Moller."

A bit more confirmation . . .

Note that The Pitch wrote up Justin Short's cheerleader battle royale and linked to the FB profile of the current council candidate.

And so . . .

This is more detail about the 4th District At-large contender than we've seen so far.

Most his press has politely focused on the fact that he has rich Northland parents who have a lot of friends.

I guess that's a good qualification for council . . . He's also pretty tall . . . Which might be a bonus and certainly helps him stand out amongst all of the shorties amongst his LGBT advocacy pals.

Still . . .

Here at TKC we believe that the connection to allegedly brawling with lady ballers whilst cheerleading is much more relevant job experience and actually sounds like some of the skills required of a KCMO council member.

You decide . . .
