Jackson County Toilet Shut Down Inside Dirt: Port-A-Potty Fix Could Cost $500K

Damn straight . . . We might've linked the story yesterday but . . .

TKC JOURNALISM ISN'T AFRAID TO GET DIRTY ON THE DEETS OF THE JACKSON COUNTY TOILET CRISIS!!!

First . . . An insider note from a power player .  .  . Or King Sh*t himself - The guy who REALLY makes most of the Jackson County Exec's decisions . . .

“FYI- there is a plumbing issue that is causing sewage to back up in the basement of the historic courthouse.  County staff and contractors have been on site cleaning, assessing and preparing to make the necessary repairs.  Due to the smell of sewage and lack of accessible public restrooms we will be closing the facility tomorrow and Wednesday.  We will be notifying the public shortly, we will post signage on site and online, and we will shift staff downtown/remote.  We will update you asap and please call if I can answer any questions.-Caleb Clifford”

And then . . .

This perspective thanks to an AWESOME INSIDER . . . No pun intended . . . Here's the word that's concerning even if the courthouse is flush with cash . . .

"They are expected to have port-a-potties on the square for 60-90 days, with a total estimated fixing cost of $500k!! My mind is blown as to how ridiculous this sounds

"That was said in public by city administrator, only after the legislature asked Frank White about it. He failed to bring it up during his report."
