Inglorious Kansas City Nike Comeback On Country Club Plaza Coming Soon

Maybe sneakers don't require a great deal of reporting but this write-up from The Star has absolutely no context.

Remember . . .

The Nike store shut down after a myriad of thefts and so many social media "viral moments" occurred at the location. The kicker and what is likely the inciting incident  . . . BLM riots/uprising that pretty much transformed The Plaza into a wasteland. 

The good news . . . Here's a single-line about the comeback . . .

"Nike officials did not comment on the reasons for the closing or the return."

Actually . . . We're looking forward to the return and the smaller, easier to mange store.

Nike returns to Kansas City's Country Club Plaza, eyes spot in Johnson County

Nike has returned to the Country Club Plaza with Nike by Kansas City at 450 Nichols Road. The chain first opened a store at 211 Nichols Road in mid-2017. But that location closed a couple of years ago.
