Are We Now In 'Golden Era' Of Kansas City?!?

If we're talking about corporate giveaways and divisive debate . . . Maybe. 

Most residents agree that this town hit it's peak either in the 30s or late 50s. We have a certain degree of sentimentality for different eras . . . For instance, we recall the glam career of hottie Jordan with a great deal of affinity.

Here's what a cheerleader for the developers has to say about it . . .

 “It’s a fantastic time to be in our region,” Kansas City Area Development Council CEO Tim Cowden said. “This is the golden era of Kansas City. I have no doubt that in 50 years, people are going to look back at this time and go, 'Look at all the things that happened in Kansas City that really set us up for success.' I truly believe that.”
