It's a disgusting deal but something that's not really a surprise . . .

New KCI offered this same deal to an urban publication but TKC has a lot of respect for that editor, a former Marine veteran, who accepted the terms and it didn't feel right for this blog to go after another urban purveyor of community news. 

However . . . It's always open season to criticize hipsters powered by trust funds.
