Here's the money line . . .

The $2.04 billion dollar submitted budget increases from the current year’s $1.9 billion dollar budget.

The proposed budget includes $25 million dollars dedicated to affordable housing solutions and the City’s Right to Counsel program aimed to support tenants facing eviction. This is a 50% increase to previous funding. $15 million dollars would be dedicated to the ReBuild KC grant program which provides a unique opportunity for organizations and individuals to build better, stronger neighborhoods.
