No Starbucks At New KCI: Did Union Beef Exclude Corporate Coffee Giant?!?!

A fun fact that hasn't made it's way to local news stations . . .

NEW KCI IS ONE OF THE FEW AIRPORTS IN THE NATION THAT WON'T HAVE A STARBUCKS!!!

It's not a big loss but this fact of life might threaten soccer moms, Karens and housewives across the nation.

Luckily there's a solution and a bit of good news . . .

Hometown Kansas City brand Parisi Coffee will be the gourmet java go-to for New KCI.

Truth be told they serve a better cup than most and we notice their workers aren't nearly as angry as the crew at most local Starbucks. 

As for the ongoing union beef . . .

Over the past year union organizers have basically shut down two prime Starbucks locations. 

We asked insiders about the impact of the organized labor struggle on airport placement that, ultimately, incorporated a great deal of union labor. 

They were mum but didn't dismiss the question. 

In the meantime . . .The "candybar in a cup" days of corporate coffee seem to be fading and won't be featured at the new KCI wherein visitors searching for a caffeine fix will be encouraged to try real coffee.
