Kansas City Democratic Party Rep. Claims 8-Year-Olds Carry AR-15s In STL

Sorry . . . I don't buy it.

In fact . . .

If a Republican made this kind of assertion they would be castigated and critics would JUSTIFIABLY ask the lawmaker to provide proof.

The premise is that 8-year-olds are walking around STL with AR-15s and police won't do anything to stop them.

If this was even halfway true . . . STL would be beyond salvation and every biz would be right to abandon the town.

But it's not even close to true and it's the kind of garbage the progressives won't dare call out despite so much Internets hype about "misinformation" on the Internets.

Check-it . . .

Current statute does not have an age limit for possessing firearms, and law enforcement officers in St. Louis are reporting that they have encountered children as young as 8 years old roaming the streets carrying AR-15 automatic rifles.

Because the law stipulates that without evidence of an intent to harm someone or commit a crime, the police have no authority to detain the children or confiscate their weapons as they would if the same children were in possession of alcohol.

Current statute does not have an age limit for possessing firearms, and law enforcement officers in St.
