Guv Kelly Tags Rural Kansas

We won't go too far deep down the conspiracy rabbit hole . . . HOWEVER. . .

Murals are often a deeply political form of expression . . . To ignore the power of public art is to tune out of the cultural discourse and ignore ideas that define our world.

Accordingly . . .

We think this EPIC mural project offers a glimpse at the eternal struggle to win hearts and minds that Democratic Party leaders in Kansas aren't ignoring.

These grants helped communities with fewer than 10,000 residents create murals and public art projects to beautify public gathering spaces and offer new tourist attractions.

"These murals celebrate the beauty of Kansas and highlight everything our small towns have to offer," Governor Laura Kelly said. "As our Rural Mural program continues to grow, I look forward to seeing how it showcases each community's individuality and contributions to our state."
