Will Northeast Kansas City Save The World?!?

Probably not.

However, we're impressed that neighbors are talking about improving the planet.

20 years ago most of the neighborhood was merely were locals ventured to by crack and discount cigarettes . . . Now the community is a local leader in the fight against climate change and the suffering of the homeless.

"The Northeast Sustainability Town Hall on February 11 at 2 p.m. at 606 Gladstone Blvd. will inform neighbors of sustainability plans different groups already have for Northeast and provide an opportunity to ask questions, collaborate and move toward a more sustainable community."
