TRIPLE SHOOTING GUNFIRE ERUPTS AT KANSAS CITY FUNERAL HOME!!!

This afternoon the South Side endured a terrifying spate of gunfire that critically injured a victim. 

Don't get it twisted, we're not joking this tragic bit of news . . . But honestly, given so much local violence and very little political will to address the crisis . . . It seems that now locals are skipping middle-man and taking their fighting right to the grave.

There are some rumors/reports out there which claim the suspect shooter was drunk and had been told to leave. Here are the deets of the story and a roundup of the soul-crushing Friday spate of bullets . . .

Update: Shooting At Funeral Home

Today at approximately 11:40 AM, officers were dispatched to a funeral home located at 115th and Blue Ridge Blvd. in regard to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found three victims who had been shot. One adult female victim was found inside the funeral home, one adult male victim was found inside the laundry mat next-door, and one adult male victim was found outside of the funeral home.

All three victims were transported to a local hospital. Two are in stable condition and one is in critical condition. There was a fourth person who received a minor injury. Preliminary information is that some type of dispute or altercation occurred between people who were at the funeral.  We do not have any suspects in custody and are working to determine what occurred.

Multiple people shot at a south Kansas City, Missouri funeral home, at least two victims critical

The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department is investigating a shooting with multiple victims outside a funeral home in south Kansas City.The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. outside Elite Funeral Chapel in the 11500 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard - near Longview Road.

Officers responded to the scene at around 11 a.m. on reports of a shooting, According to KCPD public information officer Leslie Foreman, the shooting happened after a dispute inside the funeral.

According to Kansas City Missouri Police, at least three people were shot and one person had suffered critical injuries. Police said a call came in regarding a shooting at 11:39 a.m.
