Kansas City has a long tradition of destroying the confidence of star athletes with far too much civic involvement and adoration.
Sadly, Patrick Mahomes seems to have a penchant for unadulterated praise.
Over the long term . . . It might not matter . . . Football has always been kinda rigged so people with more power and influence than cowtown fans have the final say over Paddy's career.
Still . . .
Paddy as product placement for local lady soccer isn't comforting . . .
