KCMO continues to dominate the metro area because our economy and population are larger than all of the satellite/parasite cities surrounding this town.
However . . .
In the minds of visitors . . . Kansas City, MO is the "real" Kansas City because we're home to both the Chiefs & Royals.
However . . .
That MIGHT not be true for very much longer.
