Again, a bigger part of our "job" nowadays is to myth-bust so much Kansas City b.s. propaganda. 

To wit . . . 

AMID GROWING CALLS TO BOOT THE CITY MANAGER . . . CHECK THIS LOCAL "MAGAZINE" OFFERING TRIBUTE TO BRIAN PLATT!!!

It's pretty pathetic and the tech "achievements" aren't really improving quality of life. 

Also . . .

We can't be sure about any of these numbers given a lawsuit regarding the guy telling KCMO workers to lie . . . 

Nevertheless . . . 

We'll share their side of the story if only to offer a glimpse of how many donation-based newsies are clearly out of the loop and don't have much insight into how the community feels about the city hall honcho . . . 

In both subtle and obvious ways, signs abound that Kansas City is not the cautious, slow to innovate city of the past . . . “People are noticing it,” City Manager said. “We are proud of our achievements here. It is a very aggressive pace, but we need it.”
