Kansas City Passes Antisemitism Ordinance At Outset Of Election Season

This is a nice and worthwhile gesture that was timed horribly. 

As council candidates begin begging every community for support . . . They all seem eager to please by way of posturing rather than any substantive action on issues impacting most residents.

Whilst TKC also aligns against antisemitic hateration, we can only trust that faith communities aren't easily impressed by non-binding words . . .  

The council unanimously approved the resolution sponsored by Mayor Quinton Lucas and Councilmember Andrea Bough to "adopt a working definition of antisemitism as an important educational tool to address it."

KCMO City Council approves resolution that provides working definition for antisemitism

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jews are the most likely religious group to be targets of hate and the KCMO City Council took action Thursday to help stem those incidents. The council unanimously approved the resolution sponsored by Mayor Quinton Lucas and Councilmember Andrea Bough to "adopt a working definition of antisemitism as an important educational tool to address it."
