Kansas City Friday Bike Lane Face-Off!!!

Tonight there is a battle royale debate scheduled in order to discuss control over Kansas City streets. 

A preview and a glimpse at both sides recruiting support . . . 

We notice streetcar dude Staubio and all of the Kansas City bicycle bros attempting to rally their friends for this cause . . . 

Staubio seyz . . . 

"It would be good if some voices that support a safer Truman provided perspectives at this meeting. It's a much safer street now regardless of mode."

Meanwhile . . . 

It might be kind of arrogant for 4th district luxury home & apartment dwellers to bum rush a 3rd District community center in order to tout a mode of transit that has been met with skepticism in the urban core.

As always TKC believes that more community input and discussion is a good thing. We don't know if a community center shouting match is the best way to gauge public opinion BUT moving beyond social media bubbles is welcomed. 

 We can only hope local media will fairly report increased opposition against bike supremacy which now spans demographic lines and seems to be uniting small biz owners with 3rd District residents  . . . 

Meanwhile, the same cadre of bike dudes who have garnered transit money for more than a decade have yet again attempted to dominate this Kansas City street discussion.
