Considering all the damage that locals have done to the retail district over the years . . .

This ask doesn't really seem so brazen . . .

"As of December, Country Club Plaza JV LLC, a 50-50 joint venture between Taubman Centers and The Macerich Co., has appeals outstanding with the Missouri State Tax Commission for the market value of 20 of its 29 property parcels for the 2019 reassessment cycle, and 24 of the 29 parcels for the 2021 cycle."
