Kansas City 2023 Homicide #6 Recorded After Dead Body Discovered In Car

Halfway into January this year's homicide count already outpaces last year's numbers.

Here's the latest local killing that deserves more attention given that we're all getting dangerously close to accepting this ongoing slaughter as part of normal life in KCMO.

Other American cities of similar size don't live this way and don't have leaders so willing to ignore the crisis or take any accountability.

Homicide 4600 block of Montgall

Yesterday at approximately 3pm, officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of Montgall on a keep the peace regarding found property (vehicle).  Upon search of the vehicle, officers discovered a deceased male in the vehicle.  Based on evidence at the scene, this is being investigated as a homicide.  If you have any information, please contact the Homicide Unit at 816-234-5043 or call the TIPS Hotline at 474-TIPS if you wish to remain anonymous.
