With the closure of Da Bronx and Joe's going the way of the dodo . . . Here's an uncomfortable truth:

KANSAS CITY PIZZA NOW SUFFERS DECLINE!!!

Sorry Westport, Guy's makes chips not pies . . .

And some of the best pizza purveyors have either closed shop OR struggle to stay afloat. 

JoCo pizza options outpace KCMO and that's a disgrace to our municipal pride and the soul of this city.

Of course there are foodies with their flowery adjectives willing to overlook KCMO's pizza crisis.
