Two dead, multiple lanes of traffic closed in crash on US 69 Highway
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) - Emergency personnel has reported two people have died in a car crash Thursday morning. The Overland Park Police Department stated the two-vehicle crash occurred on southbound 69 Highway just north of the I-435 interchange. The collision occurred just after 7:45 a.m.
Man hospitalized after being hit by truck, Olathe police investigating as hit-and-run incident
Olathe police are investigating a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian on Thursday morning. A 24-year-old man was struck just before 7 a.m. while walking on South Parker Street near Sheridan Street. The vehicle that hit the man did not stop. Minutes later, the vehicle police believe was involved in the hit-and-run was stopped.
