Will Kansas City FAIL 1st Winter Week?!?

I don't know what would make this week any different . . 

However, we notice our neighbors are already doing better this KCMO. 

Overland Park is gearing up to get their streets into shape for the morning commute.

Meanwhile, our local politicos are playing nice until the election filing date has passed.

A quick note from the Golden Ghetto . . .

"Overnight crews will start treating the streets at midnight on Monday morning. Some areas of the Kansas City metro could see an inch or two of snow."

Overland Park snow crews to arrive early Monday morning

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) --- In preparation for accumulating snow, the City of Overland Park will be treating roads early on Monday. Overnight crews will start treating the streets at midnight on Monday morning. Some areas of the Kansas City metro could see an inch or two of snow.


Crews preparing for cold temperatures, snow this week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Metro crews are preparing for the snow and frigid temperatures heading toward the metro area this week. Zan McKinney with the city of Independence said snowplow crews have been prepping for winter weather since September.
