The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is investigating a homicide after a person was shot and killed over the weekend.Police said officers were called to the 4000 block of Lloyd Street around 9:39 p.m. Saturday to investigate a shooting.
Independence PD investigating 2nd homicide in last 2 days
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Investigators in Independence are looking for clues in a shooting overnight Monday that left a man dead. A police spokesperson tells KSHB 41 News that around midnight, officers were called out to the 800 block of E. Pacific Avenue on reports that someone had been shot.

The Independence Police Department stated officers received a call about midnight of a shooting in the 800 block of East Pacific Avenue. When first responders arrived, they found a man outside a residence was shot.
One dead after Saturday shooting in Kansas City, Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A person died a day after a shooting Saturday night in Kansas City, Kansas. Officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Lloyd Street around 9:39 p.m. on a shooting call. They found the victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and later died Sunday.
