Mayor Hosts ATF: Federal Gun Crackdown Coming Soon To Kansas City?!?

Tonight we consider 12th & Oak following a path that has led us to the current KCMO homicide crisis.

For most of his tenure, Mayor Q has been a vehement advocate of radical gun control.

Tragically, his war against the 2nd Amendment hasn't helped curb the skyrocketing rate of deadly violence in his years as an elected official.

Even worse . . . As Kansas City hits another homicide milestone in 2022. Mayor Q's Administration continues to double down on this strategy.

Here's the word . . .

"Everyone in our city has the right to be safe from gun violence, but year after year we fall short. I have invited ATF Director Steve Dettelbach to join us in Kansas City this week to meet with our police department and social services groups working to prevent gun violence.

"While here, the Director will hear from families affected by gun violence and will visit with law enforcement about data sharing efforts to reduce violent crime. We also will discuss how new federal resources can be expanded to help make Kansas City safer. An important visit."
