Kansas Oil Spill Sparks Price Spike?!?

Actually . . . That headline and journalistic premise is unlikely given that there are a myriad of factors which typically push fuel prices higher. 

Still . . . Here's a peek at progressive reporting on a newsworthy local disaster . .  .

"An oil spill in north-central Kansas fouled a creek Wednesday night and prompted the emergency shutdown of a major international pipeline. People in Washington County, just south of the Nebraska border, woke Thursday morning to the smell of gas, the county's emergency management agency wrote on social media."

Canadian company TC Energy hasn't answered questions yet about which creek in Washington County is affected and how much oil spilled.
