New Kansas City Top Cop Already Confronts Family Drama Questions

That didn't take long.

An ethical quandary involving Kansas City's new Chief Of Police garners momentum and, critics suggest, it's one of the many problems that was predicted when hiring an insider.

To wit . . .

CRITICS QUESTION: HOW CAN KCPD CHIEF GRAVES PLAY BOSS TO HER HUBBY!?!

Consider . . .

Here's the documentation from MSM . . .

"Married to KCPD Captain Danny Graves. They live in northern Kansas City. Graves said she will leave the decision as to whether her husband stays in the department up to him. "

 Hmm . . .

Actually, that's not good enough for many law enforcement experts.

One insider sent us this question . . .

"It will be interesting what happens with her husband, Capt Danny Graves, KCPD . . . She can't promote him to major, think of the outcry that would cause . . ."

True.

In fact . . .

Leaving the decision about his impending retirement up to him might already represent an ethical lapse.

Given that his wife is Chief, how would his superior be able to manage??? The chain of command was still intact even with she served an acting Deputy Chief . . . Now, it's just a bit more "complicated" by her top cop job.

Don't worry . . . It gets worse . . .

Insiders question: Who will serve as the new employer of the top cop's hubby?!?

We've already heard some speculation . . .

Behind the scenes, on the QT and VERY hush, hush . . . We've heard Mayor Q's team is MORE THAN WILLING to find a comfy job for him, with a high salary AND lots of perks.

I'm sure he has earned it . . . BUT . . . Believe it or not TKC is a dreamer and a hopeless optimist . . . Others will have tougher questions and their own conclusions.

Whatever the case . . .

The new top cop won't be able to put off critical questions about her husband and employment ethics that are ALREADY starting to take hold.

Reported FIRST on TKC . . . Natch.

Developing . . .
