Kansas City Tiny Home Redux Threatens Weak Council Districts

The colder weather and Christmas season inspire many nice thoughts and traditions from Kansas City residents . . . However, right now we want to focus on more practical concerns.

To wit . . .

TINY HOMES FOR HOBOS THREATEN KANSAS CITY NEIGHBORHOODS AT THE OUTSET OF MAYOR Q'S 2ND TERM!!!

Sure . . .

This sounds like a great idea until we remember that there isn't a single KCMO resident who wants one of these sketchy villages in their back yard . . .

Sadly . . .

Makeshift dog houses for hobos who can't find a place to stay anywhere else is a big part of the Mayor Q's vision for solving the local homeless crisis.

Moreover . . .

The main goal here is to get so many homeless off local streets and out of sight of middle-class denizens. These dog houses accomplish that goal and also serve as PROPERTY VALUE PUNISHMENT for council districts who oppose the Mayor's upcoming council coalition.

Yes . . . We might very well see more of these hobo villages proposed in the Northland.

Thanks for asking!

Backstory . . .

Mayor Q was very close to planting a "temporary" hobo village in Downtown KC until council lady Katheryn Shields dutifully took orders from her corporate bosses and helped to shut down the misguided scheme.

Consider . . .

Zero KC isn't so much of a classic "strategy" but more of an employment program, development scheme and slush fund.

Sadly . . . This will only become apparent AFTER the upcoming low turnout elections.

Here on TKC we don't tell people how to vote . . . But we will warn locals that weak council members who don't know how to trade votes, lean on biz leaders and work their connections will make the first new hosts for this sketchy housing policy on the horizon in 2023.

Developing . . .
