Kansas City Talker Dana Wright Weeps Over Dead Baby Chimpanzee

Here at TKC we want to have sympathy for this outpouring of emotion on behalf of a captive animal.

Of course, there's the sneaking suspicion that emotive displays are all for the benefit of flicks and audience engagement . . . But we won't let cynicism rule our lives over the course of the holidays. 

In fact . . . The passing of this beloved creature has sparked widespread emotional outcry online.

“In his few short weeks of life, Kucheza brought joy and light to so many, and sparked an opportunity to educate the world about chimpanzees, the dangers they face in the wild, and most importantly – why we should care,” reads the Facebook post.
