Kansas City Streetcar Sparks Rampant Midtown Real Estate Speculation

A so-called "land rush" is really nothing more or less than "irrational exuberance" and an overdose of HYPE that hopes to lure greater fools inside the corridor. 

Consider . . .

The streetcar FAILED to revitalize or spark new biz in downtown . . . It's doubtful scheme along Main Street will work.

Here's a more optimistic take . . .

"Since the federal government granted $174 million to fully fund Kansas City’s public transportation project along Main Street in 2020, the city has seen a land rush of sorts as developers grab what they can, positioning themselves to take advantage of an anticipated economic boom along the route once it’s complete."
